There are endless types of kitchen designs, all around the world. So many sources of inspiration when it comes to renovating your kitchen at home.
Where to start?
Well, you need to start by figuring out what kind of kitchen you want. You have to be careful though, you’ll probably spend a good 10 years or more in this kitchen. So choose wisely, choose something that really fits the bill.
Choose something that’s you.
But how can you know exactly what kind of kitchen you would like?
Well, that can be quite tricky in fact. Many people struggle with deciding the colors of the counters or the walls. Others struggle with the floor or placement of the appliances. If you don’t want to end up like these people you need a plan and a vision.
To get you properly started I’ll share some beautiful kitchen designs so that you may draw some inspiration from one or more.

2. A two-table styled kitchen with built-in stove and oven
This kitchen fashions a simple, yet dramatic style, doesn’t it? It has a great feature like the built-in stove and a glass-styled kitchen fan.
3. Simple kitchen with a single yellow wall
Here we have a kitchen design that likes to keep it simple, with two rows of kitchen counters across from each other. The silver machines fit nicely into the higher counters by the bold, yellow wall, right?
4. White kitchen with an island in the middle
Here we have a classic example of a kitchen design that features the ever so popular ”islands”, as I like to call them. What I’m talking about is the large group of counters in the middle of the kitchen that makes it easy to walk around and do different kitchen-related tasks.

I love this kind of kitchen design. The L-shaped rows of counters give the owner a great system for completing different tasks in the kitchen. The built-in stove in the counters and built-in oven in the wall to the left make it look luxurious.

Not every kitchen design has to be white, right? This design features a beautiful white floor and an oak-colored kitchen island that grant the kitchen a contrast that’s both pleasant to watch and use, I’m sure!

Like I said above, not every kitchen has to be white. This design pulls it off with some green cupboards, mixed with a white kitchen island and wooden floors. It gives you a feeling of the 80’s, doesn’t it?

Here we have a special one that wants to achieve luxury with the beautiful white cupboards but makes it seem affordable with the wooden walls and half-table to the left. In any case, it’s a beautiful design indeed!

Ah, here we have one of my favorites, then again I love ultra-modern designs. This kitchen features some modern shades of gray, beige and white, mixed with black surfaces. The fireplace and flat screen TV makes it even more luxurious. Clearly the owner has picked the right job profession!
10. A huge kitchen with some great sunlight
This picture was taken in a different angle from the rest of our photos. Why? So that we could capture the glory and size of this kitchen design. With some modern designs and white colors, mixed with oak features and a lot of sunlight we have ourselves a real high-end kitchen design.

Here we have an absolute beauty of kitchen design incorporated with a dining room feature. The glamorous features of this kitchen is truly breath-taking and the dark oak colors really give it a feeling of luxury and high-end.

This is a smaller kitchen with some bold colors in the form of yellow and white, with some checkered tiles in the background of the sink and appliances. This is a design that might not sit well with every single person but for those who enjoy unique and exciting design, then this is some good inspiration.

Isn’t this a typical kitchen design you’d see in southern France? Or perhaps an Italian kitchen? Nonetheless, this design reminds you of Europe, in all it’s glory. The wooden furnitures and features really bring together that cozy feeling.

First of all, this is a big kitchen. Second of all, the brown cupboards with waves across really give this large kitchen a clean-cut, modern design. The built-in appliances on the left are just cherry on top in this stunningly handsome kitchen.
21. A smaller, simple kitchen design with a ”comfort” feeling
This kitchen isn’t all that big, nor is it all too modern. But it’s definitely a design that gives you a sense of comfort, right? It’s a kitchen you could imagine yourself standing in which makes it a realistic one.

Here we have a modern-day kitchen with some very distinct brown features with a touch of the very revealing red tile pattern behind the sink and stove. A bold, yet good move.

In southern Europe you’ll find some very cozy and comfortable kitchens. This one doesn’t just remind one of these, it’s the definition of the southern European kitchen. With a distinct, old-fashioned island and stone tiles, this is a great places for cooking.

Now we arrive at a kitchen with some bulky wooden ”logs” along the roof and coming down on the island in the middle. Along with the white cupboards along the sides, this design is something you might see in cabins as well.

This one has a lot of appliances and stuff sitting on the counters, which can be ugly. But it makes up for it by having some beautiful cupboards and built-in appliances along these cupboards. The silver stove and oven are a great fit, too.

Here is a kitchen design that doesn’t use any white features like most of the pictures in this list. Instead it’s a kitchen that uses light brown, wood and silver as its main features and it’s doing it elegantly.

This kitchen defines the idea of simplicity as it uses a minimal amount of appliances and features to create a clean, modern and slick design.

Here we have a design that just screams ”high-standard”, right? The space between the counters and kitchen island is very nice and the waves along the cupboards are very elegant. All in all, this is a very good-looking design.

This kitchen design is incredibly similar to number 20 on this list, right? Well, they follow the same layout though this one has some more white features mixed with wooden panels on the walls. The built-in appliances on the darker wall to the left is still gorgeous.

This kitchen might seem messy but the truth is that it’s beautiful. Why? Just look at the elegant design of the floor tiles, the chandelier, the wooden cupboards of light brown color.

Gah, the windows! This kitchen gets so much sunlight that I’m becoming jealous here. The white cupboards and features reflect the light very well, giving the design a luxurious feel to it.

Here’s one of my favorite designs on this list. This kitchen has all of the elements of luxury and pure high-end style. The large windows, the elevated platform, the dark brown walls, it all just blends in perfectly in this masterpiece.

This one really defines a regular kitchen in any given suburban home in the USA, with a few extra features such as the warm color of red and reflective black surfaces. A real gem.
35. This might be a secondary kitchen, don’t you think?
Here we have a kitchen that looks like a secondary one in a large mansion, right? The simple design with light-colored cupboards and counters really give you nice feeling.

This design takes the color red to the next level. With some incredibly reflective surfaces and distinct red features, this is truly a kitchen of unique design. It’s quite frankly very cool.

38. Someone really likes red in this design
Here’s another person who likes red, and I really mean likes red considering that all of the counters and cupboards are red. But it’s a cool and different design that might not go home with everyone, but definitely with a select bunch. The white floor really helps lighten up the mood though so that not all of your thoughts are blood.
39. This kitchen looks like it’s part of an older hotel.
Now here we have an oddball. Though it’s a nice kitchen with some light green colors, it does remind you of kitchen you might see in an old hotel, right? But that’s part of the charm in this design!

This kitchen is something special. Not only does it apply for the high-end designs but it’s also achievable for mortals. The grey counters and cupboards mixed with the blackish/bronze handles create such a cozy and yet modern design. The beautiful, reflective countertops and built-in stove really help this kitchen take it to the next level when it comes to high-end design that’s still affordable. Notice the tiles behind the sink and stove? Just magnificent, isn’t it?

This kitchen is incredibly stylish and quite frankly, beautiful. The darker colors mixed with silver and lighter tiles behind the modern fan and stove really help elevate this one to a high-end designs. The kitchen island is also something special in this one.

Here’s another kitchen design that reminds one of Europe. This time it’s a kitchen that looks like it could be a good fit in a typical European mansion located in England or the Netherlands, The cupboards, counters and dark brown furniture really help add to the concept.

And at last we arrive at the last kitchen on our list. This one is a typical beach house design that just lets in so much sunlight and offers a great view.The kitchen appliances themselves aren’t really special and the counters and cupboards are pretty average but because of the sunlight and view, this kitchen has a great feeling to it.
